Join the Rutgers Sustainability Coalition, Students for Environmental Awareness, and Sunrise Movement on Tuesday, February 4th at the College Ave Student Center for a much-needed university update on sustainability!

The climate crisis has already begun to ravage our planet - over 1 billion animals have been killed by wildfires in Australia and half a million people have been displaced by flooding in Jakarta. With only 10 years to dramatically cut emissions to keep the global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius, widespread systemic change is the only way we can reduce the number of lives lost to this global crisis. It is absolutely crucial that Rutgers takes action on its climate impact immediately, and we, the students, are leading the way.

The goals of this town hall include:
* To have a University-wide update on sustainability
* To provide a space for students, faculty, and administration to share knowledge through direct forms of communication
* To identify and address any redundancies and gaps in sustainability efforts on campus

This event will include:
* Meet & greet and refreshments
* Presentations by various student organizations who have been leaders in climate action at Rutgers
* Panel Discussions by students, faculty, and administrators
* Q&A sessions with students, faculty, and administrators
* Tabling by student organizations
***A more detailed agenda will be added***

It is imperative that all of us become informed on the current state of sustainability and take action accordingly. Please take this opportunity to learn how you can become a part of this movement.

This event is sponsored by Rutgers Global.
