The Program

A 3-week summer program in China.

Antai Global Summer Program(AGSP)was initiated by Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2013. Every year, the English-taught summer program gathers a hundred international students from over 30 countries and regions. AGSP is a great opportunity to explore more about business and culture in China in a globally engaging way. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the Chinese economy and culture with in-class coursework, company visits, social events. Learn more on their website.

Shanghai is the heart of China's economic development and a major business center in the world. It is headquartered by a great number of world's top corporations and has attracted many foreign invested financial institutions, all embracing the vibrant and rigorous business environment of this cosmopolitan city.

The Xuhui Campus is one of the five campuses of Shanghai Jiao Tao University. It is within walking distance from Xujiahui Central Business District, which is one of the most dynamic business areas in Shanghai. The various shopping centers, dinning places theatres and other facilities are all within easy reach to provide students with a convenient life.*

Academics

Recognized as one of Asia’s top business schools, Antai College of Economics & Management (ACEM) is experienced in designing curriculum of rich academic components combined with real-world business immersion practice. In addition to in-class lecturing, the AGSP also includes company visits, executive speaker seminars, unique cultural and social activities. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the Chinese economy and culture throughout the three-week program which is carefully planned to include in-class coursework, company visits, social events and cultural tours. 

The program includes exclusive visits to leading companies in various industries and across types of companies (MNC, JV , SOE), and lectures by industry executives and leading experts in their fields.

Students can participate in social events characterized by Chinese culture and excursions to famous landmarks in one of the most exciting cities in the world. Acquire first-hand understanding of Chinese culture. Plus, Chinese language courses are also included in the program and are offered at a differentiated level so as to cater to the majority’s learning needs.

Pell eligible students may apply to the Gilman Scholarships. Deadline for summer program is typically in March. Check their website for more information.
