International Education Week is a joint initiative of U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education that celebrates the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. Rutgers Global and other university units and departments host on-campus events and online activities in recognition of International Education Week.

Rules & Guidelines for IEW Photo Contest +
You can submit up to 4 photos (1 each) in the following categories:
• Experiencing Cultural Traditions
• International Destinations
• International Foods
• Life in the U.S.
Eligibility:
This contest is only open to current students and scholars of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. All winners will be required to confirm their student status.

Contest Rules:
You may submit one original photo of your creation in each of the four categories:
• Experiencing Cultural Traditions: photos of cultural traditions, festivals, dress
• International Destinations: photos of international cities, buildings, landscapes
• International Foods: photos of culinary delicacies you have sampled abroad
• Life in the U.S.: photos of you at U.S. destinations—open to international students with F-1 and J-1 visas
Selection Process:
A committee from Rutgers Global will select 4 finalists in each category that will be posted on our Instagram account (@rutgers.global) during International Education Week, from November 18 through November 22. Voters will submit a form with their selections, linked in the posts. The votes will be tallied and the winners announced the week of November 25. Winners will be notified via email.
