MaGrann/USF Conference | October 5th-8th
The Magrann/USF conference brings together a global network of researchers and activists interested in Black geographic studies and activist interventions against the racialized power dynamics that perpetuate devaluation, extraction, expropriation and marginalization of Black lives and majority-Black places. Join us to discuss Black Community Economies, Black Ecologies, Black Memory, Resistance and the City, and Abolition.
This event is hosted by the Department of Geography and co-sponsored by: The Mark MaGrann Endowment Fund, Urban Studies Foundation (USF), Rutgers Advanced Institute for Critical Caribbean Studies (RAICCS), Institute for the Study of Global Racial Justice (ISGRJ), School of Environmental and Biological Sciences (SEBS Global Initiative), School of Arts and Sciences (SAS), Rutgers Global, and the Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS).
