This session will concentrate on the H-1B temporary worker visa category. To be eligible, registrants must have attended “Basic Concepts” and “J-1 Introduction” classes or have had prior experience processing J-1 visitor requests. Topics will include University policy on H-1B sponsorship, Federal regulations affecting H-1B visa sponsorship and compliance requirements, travel restrictions, a walk through the entire H-1B process in hiring an H-1B worker.
