Apply by March 30, 2018, to take part in the first calligraphy contest for undergraduate students. Students whose native language is Mandarin or any student who speaks Mandarin at home or has spent a year or more living in a Mandarin-speaking country are not eligible to apply. Hosted by the Confucius Institute of Rutgers University.

How to Enter

1. Return the application form to ciru@global.rutgers.edu by March 30, 2018.
2. The Confucius Institute of Rutgers University will confirm your participation by email.
3. On April 11, 2018, come to 24 College Avenue any time between noon and 4:00 p.m. where you will write a sentence of your own choice, and a given sentence in any of Chinese Calligraphy styles (brush, paper and ink will be provided).
4. Your work will be reviewed and graded by our committee by April 17, 2018
5. You will be notified by April 18, 2018

Prizes
First Prize: $100 gift card
Second Prize: $80 gift card
Third Prize: $50 gift card

All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
