Interested in applying for Legal Permanent Residence (Green Card)? Join us for a workshop with Dan Berger, Partner at the immigration law firm of Curran, Berger & Kludt. Mr. Berger will be providing more information on the options for those seeking a green card without an employer sponsor. This workshop will be a good opportunity for many Post-Doctoral Associates/Fellows, Research Staff, Graduate Students, and others who are interested in pursuing Legal Permanent Residence but may not be eligible for employer-sponsorship. Mr. Berger will be discussing: 1. Basic overview of employment-based options; 2. Self-sponsorship through an Extraordinary Ability (EB-1A) petition; 3. Self-sponsorship through a National Interest Waiver (EB-2 NIW); and 4. New STEM initiatives from the Biden Administration.
As a preview of the topics to be discussed, you can review Mr. Berger's article titled "Overview: Applying for a Green Card Without an Employer Sponsor" and this Forbes article discussing new STEM initiatives.
This workshop will not cover immigration sponsorship through Rutgers. For more information on Rutgers' sponsorship policies, please visit Permanent Residence Sponsorship.
