Rutgers delegation fostered academic alliances and strengthened alumni engagement during March visit
In a major step to bolster its global visibility, an institution-wide delegation from Rutgers University visited India in March 2025. The visit marked a strategic push to deepen Rutgers’ engagement with India’s vibrant academic and innovation ecosystem through the exploration of new partnerships, research initiatives, and student mobility programs.
Rutgers University is expanding its global reach through strategic collaborations in India, with an aim to strengthen educational partnerships, promote research innovation, enhance opportunities for student and faculty exchanges, and attract international students to join our University.
Rutgers University is part of the Institute of International Education’s (IIE) Delegation that is convening 100+ higher education leaders and senior officials from both countries. Vice President for Global Affairs Eric Garfunkel and Executive Director of International Student Services Mohini Mukherjee from Rutgers Global are representing the university and meeting with alumni while in India.
