Experience the world in one night through cultural performances and fun activities - no passport required! Join us in Livingston Hall for an evening of crafts, language learning, international dances, and more, thanks to many of the cultural student organizations at Rutgers. There will be prize raffles throughout the evening including $50 Visa gift cards. You can also sample international sweets, too.
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, will be hosting the 2025 BTAA Summit from March 12-14 in New Brunswick, NJ. The BTAA Summit is dedicated to advancing international student inclusion and engagement, a vital element of campus internationalization. Through presentations and roundtable discussions, we’ll share insights and best practices across a range of topics. Both experienced and new professionals are encouraged to attend.
Rutgers Global – International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) is offering an in-person workshop on working with international students.

The Mandela Washington Fellowship—a flagship program of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI)—empowers young African leaders through academic coursework, leadership training, mentoring, networking, professional opportunities, and local community engagement. This U.S. Department of State program is administered by IREX.

The Peace Corps is a 27-month long service opportunity for motivated U.S. citizens over 18 to immerse themselves in a community abroad and work alongside local leaders to tackle pressing challenges.
Rutgers and the United States Peace Corps have shared a history since 1961 when Rutgers was selected to serve as the training site for the original cohort of Peace Corps Volunteers to the Republic of Colombia. In 2015, Rutgers Global entered into an agreement with the Peace Corps to establish a Peace Corps Recruitment Office as a resource for the entire university. International Education Week is a joint initiative of U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education that celebrates the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. Rutgers Global and other university units and departments host on-campus events in recognition of International Education Week.
