Study Polish intensively in Krakow at the Prolog Language School, an institute that boasts cutting edge instructional materials and dedicated, experienced instructors of Polish as a foreign language. In Krakow, students will be offered an extensive excursion program to sites and events in Krakow with a local guide from Prolog, as well as activities centering on film, art, cuisine, and more.

Krakow is the second largest and one of the oldest, most beautiful, and most interesting cities in Poland. It is known for its well-preserved historical architecture going back to the Medieval era. The multitudes of attractions in Krakow include the Old Town, Jewish Quarter, Market Square, Planty Park, and St. Mary’s Basilica. Krakow is a vibrant city during the summer months with numerous attractions and exhibits and endless cafes, shops, and historical corners to explore. Students will live in apartments situated close to the site of classes and the historical center of Krakow. The cost of housing abroad is included in the program cost. Academics
Rutgers University is partnering with the University of Pittsburgh, Summer Language Institute. The credit earn will be recognized as Rutgers credit. Selected Rutgers students will submit a second application through https://www.sli.pitt.edu/polish-abroad
You will study Polish in an intensive, immersive environment, improving proficiency in all four language modes: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The Prolog Language School brings rave reviews year after year because of the dedication of its teachers, its cutting-edge textbooks, and its wide-ranging offerings of tours and optional after-school activities, at no additional cost. Prolog's language instructors are graduates of the highly-regarded Jagiellonian University Polish Language and Literature Department. According to placement tests students are placed in one of six levels of study, alongside students from all over the European Union, making for a cosmopolitan and high-quality peer group. The 6 week program is equivalent to 6 credits (up to 1.5 semesters) of language study at Rutgers; the 4 week program is equivalent to 4 credits (one semester). Housing and Meals
Students will live in apartments situated close to the site of classes and the historical center of Krakow. The cost of housing abroad is included in the program cost. No meals are included
