Lynell James

Lynell James is the Program Manager for Student Enrollment & Access Initiatives at Rutgers Global–Study Abroad. Originally from St. Lucia and a proud first-generation alumna of Rutgers University, she leads initiatives that expand access to global education, with a focus on financial aid advising, scholarship programming, and equity-centered student support.
   
Before joining Rutgers Global, Lynell served as Senior Program Coordinator for Financial Aid, Outreach, and Recruitment with the School of Arts and Sciences' Educational Opportunity Fund Program. She brings nearly two decades of experience in student services and was honored with the 2023 Arts and Sciences Staff Excellence Award. Lynell is currently pursuing a Master of Communication and Media with a focus on leadership and strategic communication.
