During the session, you’ll learn:

  • When to book your flight for the best value
  • How to choose routes and manage layovers
  • Tips on flexibility, baggage, and travel policies
  • Common mistakes to avoid when booking international travel
  • Payment plans

You’ll also learn about FlyPass, a Rutgers Global–Study Abroad initiative designed to help lower the cost of airfare. Eligible students can receive a flight credit of $500–$2,000, applied directly to their booking with ScholarTrip. FlyPass can be used for Rutgers Global–administered programs and is intended to reduce out-of-pocket costs so you can focus more on your experience abroad—not the expense.

Whether you plan to book through ScholarTrip or on your own, this session will give you practical tools to make informed and cost-effective decisions
