Rutgers Global and Rutgers Health invite you to attend a symposium connecting Rutgers faculty with Korean government funding agencies, leading research institutes, and bio-health companies. 

The symposium aims to strengthen Rutgers’ international research collaborations by connecting our faculty with representatives from Korean government funding agencies, leading research institutes, and bio-health companies. It will also highlight Rutgers’ research strengths and explore new funding and partnership opportunities.

As part of our growing Korea–US engagement strategy in the biomedical and health sciences, Rutgers Global and Rutgers Health will co-host a Symposium on Korea–US R&D Collaborations and Funding Opportunities on Wednesday, June 19, at Richard Weeks Hall on the Rutgers–New Brunswick campus.

The symposium aims to strengthen global research collaboration between Rutgers and South Korea by convening key stakeholders from government, academia, and industry in the biomedical and bio-health sectors. It will also highlight Rutgers’ research strengths and explore new funding and partnership opportunities. The audience for this event includes:

  • Rutgers faculty members engaged in biomedical, bio-health, and engineering research
  • Korean scholars and industry leaders in NY/NJ areas
  • Korean research funding agency representatives
  • Korean academic entities and bio-health companies seeking partnerships

Co-sponsors include: Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT), Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in New York, Seoul National University, and K-BioX
