Boren Awards Information Session for Graduate & Undergraduate Students
Interested in taking your language skills to the next level through an immersive experience abroad? The Boren Awards provide funding for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students to study critical languages and cultures in regions of the world important to U.S. interests.
Boren Scholars and Fellows study a wide range of critical languages, including Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese, Russian, Swahili, and many more. Students of all language proficiency levels are encouraged to explore the Boren Awards—what matters is a commitment to developing and strengthening your language skills.
Undergraduate students can receive up to $25,000 through the Boren Scholarship, and graduate students can receive up to $30,000 through the Boren Fellowship.
