**Troubleshooting Zoom Registration**
If you receive an error message when trying to register for drop-in advising, try the following:
(1) Make sure you are using your netid@rutgers.edu email
(2) Confirm that you have activated your Rutgers Zoom account
(3) Contact OIT if issue persists. (It could mean you have a personal Zoom account linked to your Rutgers email. OIT will have to reconfigure this before the system will recognize your account as authorized.)

All students are welcome! Join us for a workshop on budgeting tips, scholarship and grant opportunities, and how to maximize your Rutgers Financial Aid award to fund your study abroad experience.

Join our virtual weekly Financial Aid Workshops to learn about:

  • Budgeting Tips – Get practical advice on planning and managing your expenses.

This session will also cover the John McCain International Scholarship for children of military families, offering up to $5,000 to support your global learning journey.

Boren Awards: Scholarships & Fellowships | Recording Passcode: L5%sV6!Q

Discover how the Boren Awards provide U.S. undergraduates with up to $25,000 for study abroad in critical global regions, with additional funding for STEM majors and summer language study. Up to $30,000 in graduate students fellowships for research and language study. Join this expert-led workshop to learn more about these exciting opportunities. ROTC & Veterans Students are also eligible for these scholarships!

Fund for Education Abroad Scholarships | Recording | No Passcode Required 

The Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) provides scholarships to U.S. undergraduates with financial need to study abroad. The Spring application closes in September, and the Summer/Fall cycle opens in November. Eligible applicants must be 18 or older, be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or DACA recipient, be enrolled as undergraduates, have financial need, have never studied abroad after high school graduation, and meet program requirements such as studying abroad for at least 14 days. Come to our Fall 2026 Study Abroad Fair on September 16, 2026 at the Livingston Student Center.

Attending our Study Abroad Fair is one of the best ways to learn about global education and funding opportunities. Held annually in the fall semester, this is the best opportunity to talk directly to:

  • study abroad advisors
  • faculty and program directors
  • partner institutions
  • program providers
  • AND student alumni

Any attending student can enter a raffle for application fee waivers and study abroad scholarships! Also, enjoy free food, games, swag, and more!
