United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

In 2015, the 193 countries of the United Nations convened to update the Millennium Development Goals to develop and articulate a new set of global grand challenges.

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were selected to focus global efforts to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure health for all. Members of the Rutgers community are conducting research, offering classes and coordinating service engagement related to many of the 17 SDGs.
