Why Study Abroad?

When it comes to employability in the interconnected world of the 21st century, students who land rewarding jobs in their desired fields often report that a global experience helped them to edge out the competition.

Many students who study abroad find themselves—for the first time—completely responsible for their schedules, their transportation, and their finances in a new environment where language and culture are different. Students routinely return from study abroad with a new sense of maturity, broadened perspectives about themselves and the world, and a renewed sense of dedication and purpose to their coursework at Rutgers.

Earn Credits. Make Memories. Gain an Edge. Study Abroad.
