Billing & Payment

Once accepted to a study abroad program, here’s what you can typically expect in terms of billing and payment:

  1. Submit your program deposit to secure your spot! Deposits are non-refundable and vary by program length and type, so check your program budget sheet.

  2. Our advisers will register you for a study abroad placeholder course which will create your Rutgers term bill. You will be notified by Rutgers Student Accounting when your bill is ready for viewing.

  3. Your deposit will be credited back to your bill. Any scholarships or aid for which you are eligible will appear on the bill, and you will be responsible for the balance.
